HC Deb 21 December 1938 vol 342 c2926W
Mr. Mathers

asked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that the Falmouth Harbour Commissioners are now imposing mooring charges for small private boats on an annual basis, but that tugs, barges, dredgers, and other commercial craft are not charged; that the actual moorings are privately-owned; and that the part of the harbour used for mooring is not suitable for commercial usage owing to shallow water; and if he will take steps to ensure that there shall be equality of treatment for all craft, and that any charges shall be proportionate to the period of use and the facilities provided?

Mr. Burgin

I am making inquiries and will communicate the result to the hon. Member.
