§ Mr. Hore-BelishaIn the 12 months ended 31st January, 1937, 362 miles of lighted roads were freed from restriction and 162 miles of unlighted roads were restricted by Order. I am not in a position to state the mileage of roads which came under restriction for the first time in this period as a result of the provision of street lighting.
