Mr. CHAMBERLAINAccording to an estimate made in 1922 the total amount paid by His Majesty's Government to France on harbour dues and services for the British Navy and disbursements on behalf of the Ministry of Shipping amounted to approximately £2 millions for the period from the outbreak of war up to the 31st March, 1919.
