§ Sir S. HOAREIn reply to the first part of the question, I would refer the hon. Member to Part VII of Schedule II to the Indian Tariff Act, of which I am sending him a copy. The protective duties are due to expire on 31st March, 1934. The Tariff Board have been asked to report on the question of the continuance of the protection of the steel industry.
