HC Deb 12 July 1932 vol 268 cc1122-3W

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will issue orders to all head teachers in the counties in which Gaelic is taught that they include in their annual report a statement of how many children receive Gaelic instruction in the course of the year?

The forms for the annual return in respect of the school session now ending have already been printed and issued to the education authorities and other managers of schools. But I will consider my Noble Friend's suggestion when the form for the next return is being drawn up.
