§ Mr. WHITELEYasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is aware of the difference in the terms of loans granted to parish councils, small holdings and allotments, and co-operative societies under the 1925 Allotments Act; and whether he is prepared to see that similar terms are granted?
Mr. GUINNESSThe terms under which loans from the Public Works Loan Board were made available to enable co-operative societies to acquire land for the provision of allotments were carefully considered when the Act of last Session was before this House. I am not prepared to propose legislation with a view to altering the conditions then decided upon.
