Mr. CHAMBERLAINSince the issue of the Circular of 8th February, 1924, the number of maternity and child welfare centres in England known to my Department has increased from 1,986 to 2,112, and proposals for about 30 additional centres are under consideration. Additional sessions for infant consultations, ante-natal work, massage, etc., have also been provided at 96 existing centres.
