§ Mr. CECIL WILSONasked the Minister of Health whether, in considering reforms of the rating system, any consideration will be given to systems of taxation in operation in New South Wales, Queensland, and other parts of the Empire, where machinery and improvements are exempt from taxation?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINAs intimated in the replies recently given to hon. Members, the Report of the Departmental Committee on the Rating of Machinery, together with other suggestions which have been made on the Draft Rating and Valuation Bill, is at present under consideration.
