HC Deb 31 July 1924 vol 176 c2258W
Mr. MACLEAN

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer Whether his attention has been drawn to complaints from many parts of the country that the remission of the duty on tea has not been passed on to the consumers; and, if so, what steps he is taking to secure the result he had in mind when he reduced the duty on tea?

Mr. GRAHAM

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply which I gave on the 10th July to the hon. Member for the Dartford Division (Mr. Mills).
