Mr. GRAHAMI fear I can add nothing to the statement made by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer on this matter during the discussion of the Old Age Pensions Bill, 1924. The method of calculation to which the hon. Member refers is, of course, prescribed by law, and I have no power to alter it.
