§ Viscount CURZONasked the Home Secretary how many motor cyclist police are now employed, and with what results; and can the further extension of this branch of the force now be considered?
§ Mr. SHORTTTwenty motor cyclist police officers are now regularly employed on special road duties, namely, 10 as drivers and 10 as observers. They have reported for process a number of cases of dangerous driving, obstruction by slow moving traffic, etc.; but it is yet too early to determine whether an extension of this branch can be undertaken.
