HC Deb 31 May 1921 vol 142 cc858-9W
Lieut.-Colonel CROFT

asked the Postmaster-General whether the postal service has lately been engaged in putting in ducts for the cables between Bournemouth and Westbourne, and in Poole; if so, whether there is a large quantity of these articles in store at the Bourne Valley Pottery which have been passed by the inspectors, and which are awaiting delivery, whilst all the ducts are being brought from a considerable distance at a railway carriage of upwards of 30s. per ton; and if he can give any information on this subject?

Mr. KELLAWAY

I am having further inquiries made, and will report the result to my hon and gallant Friend.
