§ Mr. CAIRNSasked the Minister of Agriculture if he is aware that a Grimsby firm of trawlers is purchasing a Dutch fleet of motor fishing vessels, and that they intend running them under a foreign flag with a foreign crew, or crews; and can he take any steps to protect British fishermen from such action?
§ Mr. S. BALDWINI have been asked to reply. The Board of Trade have received no information about the transaction to which the hon. Member refers, and, so far as I am aware, there is no power to interfere with transactions of this kind.
