HC Deb 12 August 1919 vol 119 c1115W
Petrograd Hotel

.— The Canadian Red Cross had 108 patients here at the end of July. Some of these have now been shipped home, and it is hoped the remainder (53) will be removed by the end of this month.

I should like to add that much of the alleged delay in settling dilapidation claims is due to the owners not being pre pared to submit their claims promptly. After premises have been inspected by the War Department Valuer, owners are at liberty to proceed with the reinstatement of their premises, and need not wait till the question of dilapidations is settled.
