HC Deb 26 February 1914 vol 58 c1960W
Major ANSTRUTHER-GRAY

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the Report of the Departmental Committee on Local Taxation which is now under consideration will refer to Scotland; whether the local authorities in Scotland have been invited to give evidence on the subject, and when and where the evidence was taken; and when copies of this evidence, if any, will be available for reference?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

The forthcoming Report will deal with England and Wales only. I understand that no oral evidence has yet been received from local authorities in Scotland.
