§ Mr. RUNCIMANThe circumstances which affect the expenditure on agricultural education in the countries named differ so considerably that any attempt at a comparative statement would inevitably be misleading. In this connection I may perhaps be allowed to refer the hon. Member to the reply given to a similar Question put by the hon. Member for the Newport Division on the 12th August, 1909, a copy of which I shall be glad to send him.
