HC Deb 11 December 1912 vol 45 c477W
Mr. NORMAN CRAIG

asked the Postmaster-General whether his attention has been directed to the withdrawal from certain railway companies of the right of receiving and transmitting telegraphic messages; whether he is aware that this withdrawal occasions inconvenience to members of the public; will he say how many stations have been affected by the withdrawal; and will he consider the desirability of restoring a practice of convenience to the public?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

I am not aware of any case of withdrawal, but if the hon. Member will inform me of any specific instance which he has in mind I shall be glad to have inquiry made.
