§ Mr. O'GRADYasked the Secretary of State for War if the present staff of surveyors, draughtsmen, and printers, trained and being trained at the Survey School at Chatham, is sufficient to satisfy all military requirements; and, if not, will he arrange to have the present staff in training sufficiently augmented to meet the deficiency?
§ Mr. HALDANEUnder present arrangements sufficient men can be trained at the school as surveyors, draftsmen, and printers to meet the present requirements of the Royal Engineers in men of those trades. No augmentation of staff is, therefore, necessary.
