§ Mr. JOHN MURPHYasked the Chief Secretary whether the Commissioners of National Education can see their way to alter the rule under which they refuse to supply candidates with the marks obtained by them at King's Scholarships Examinations, as in many cases it is essential that candidates who may have to present themselves a second time should know the subjects in which they failed to secure sufficient marks?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Commissioners of National Education do not consider it would be in the interest of education to supply candidates with the marks obtained by them at the King's Scholarship Examinations, but the Commissioners have no objection to informing candidates of the subjects in which they failed.
