HL Deb 11 November 1975 vol 365 c1677

[No. 5]

Clause 10, page 7, line 41, leave out ("making") and insert ("the effect of which is to make").

The LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 5. This is a drafting Amendment for the purposes of clarification. Its explanation is lengthy and elaborate, and in view of other business which your Lordships have to deal with I hope it will suffice to take it from me that it is merely a drafting Amendment for the purposes of clarification. I beg to move.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
