LORD ABERDARE

My Lords, under paragraph 10(l) of Schedule 1, family practitioner committees are not empowered to employ staff. The purpose of this Amendment is to provide that under paragraph 10(2) of Schedule 1 transfers of officers may take place only between authorities which are not family practitioner committees. I beg to move.
