HL Deb 02 May 1967 vol 282 cc811-2
LORD DRUMALBYN

My Lords, I beg leave to ask the first Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

[The Question was as follows:

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether, in considering planning appeals in Scotland concerning twin-unit caravans, the same criteria are applied as are set out in the Ministry of Housing and Local Government Circular No. 17/65 issued on March 17, 1965 (as amended by the correction slip issued on April 6, 1965); and if not what are the comparable criteria in Scotland.]

THE JOINT PARLIAMENTARY UNDER-SECRETARY OF STATE FOR SCOTLAND (LORD HUGHES)

No planning appeals of this kind have been made to my right honourable friend, but, if they were, he would deal with them on the lines set out in the Ministry's circular.

LORD DRUMALBYN

My Lords, I am much obliged to the noble Lord for his reply.
