§ THE LORD CHANCELLORMy Lords, I can take these three Amendments to Clause 7 together. The object of these Amendments is to make it plain that the prohibition in the subsection applies to a solicitor-justice acting as agent for another solicitor. I think this carries out the intention which we all desired. I beg to move.

§ LORD LLEWELLINMy Lords, we also agree to these Amendments. I may say that I think that the third Amendment should be to page 5, line 37, and not line 36. I have been unable to find a "not" in line 36.
§ THE LORD CHANCELLORMy Lords, that is so, and I am grateful to the noble Lord for pointing it out. I do 1635 not see a "not" in line 36. It should be page 5, line 37. I will put the Question in that form, and your Lordships will understand what I intend.
