Clause 40, page 42, line 37, at end insert ("and references in any enactment (including any enactment in this Act) to costs payable under the Costs in Criminal Cases Act, 1908, shall be construed as including references to costs payable by virtue of the provisions of this section.")

The Common agreed to the above Amendment, but proposed the following Amendment thereto—

Line 2, leave out ("(including any enactment in this Act)").

My Lords, this is a drafting Amendment. This is a case where the Commons have proposed an Amendment to our Amendment. I beg to move that this House do agree with the Amendment made by the Commons to the Lords Amendment.
