Moved, That the Order be now considered.—(The Marquess of Zetland.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

THE MARQUESS OF ZETLAND

My Lords, I will move the two Amendments relating to this Order together, because the first one is really consequential on the second. Their object is to make clear that where the word "Minister" is used reference is made to Ministers under the existing Constitution as well as to persons who may be Ministers under the new Constitution.

Amendments moved— In paragraph 6, page 2, line 22, leave out ("sub-paragraph") and insert ("sub-paragraphs.") In paragraph 6, page 2, after line 30, insert: (4) In this paragraph ' Minister ' means a Minister under this Act or the Acts repealed by the Government of India Act, 1935.")—(The Marquess of Zetland.)

On Question, Amendments agreed to.
