§ The Clerk of the Parliaments drew the attention of the Committee to a Treasury Circular, dated the 13th of May, 1921, relating to securing a large reduction in the Estimates for the Financial Year, 1922–23. The Committee decided to appoint Sub-Committee to inquire into the various headings in the House of Lords Estimates with a view to ascertaining what reductions were possible. - (3) The question of raising the amount of the Private Bill and Judicial Foes.
