THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF ONSLOW)

My Lords, I have to ask your Lordships to appoint the Committees which are usually appointed at the beginning of the session. First of all, I move the appointment of a Committee to select and propose to the House the names of five Lords to form a Select Committee for the consideration of Private Bills.

Moved, That the Lords following, viz.:

with the Chairman of Committees, be appointed a Committee to select and propose to the House the names of the Five Lords to form a Select Committee for the consideration of each opposed Private Bill.—(The Earl of Onslow.)
