HL Deb 10 March 1910 vol 5 c134
THE EARL OF ONSLOW

I next have to move the appointment of a Standing Committee. I notice that the noble Earl, Lord Camperdown, has a Motion on the Paper dealing with the Standing Committee, but I do not think that is any reason why your Lordships should not appoint the Standing Committee. If you agree later on to the noble Earl's Motion, it will be perfectly possible for that Committee to sit and consider the question to be referred to it even though the Standing Committee had been appointed. I therefore move.

Moved, That a Standing Committee be appointed for the consideration of such Public Bills as may be committed to it by the House.—(The Earl of Onslow.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
