The LORD CHANCELLOR acquainted the House that the Clerk of the Parliaments had laid upon the Table the Certificates from the Examiners that the Standing Orders applicable to the following Bills have been complied with: Local Government Provisional Orders (No. 1); Local Government Provisional Orders (No. 4); Local Government Provisional Orders (No. 5).

Also the Certificates that no Standing Orders are applicable to the following Bills: Sea Fisheries Provisional Order: Land Drainage Provisional Order; Local Government Provisional Orders (No. 2); Local Government Provisional; Order (No. 3); Local Government Provisional Order (No. 6); Local Government Provisional Order (Poor Law).

And also the Certificates that the further Standing Orders applicable to the following Bills have been complied with: Derby Gas; Pontefract Corporation; Rochester, Chatham, and Strood Gas; Cheltenham Gas; Edinburgh Corporation; Metropolitan Railway; South Suburban Gas.

The same were ordered to lie on the Table.

National Assurance Company of Ireland and Yorkshire Fire and Life Insurance Company Bill [H.L.]; South Lancashire Tramways (Extension of Time) Bill [H.L.]. Commons Amendments considered, and agreed to.

Bute (English and Welsh) Estates Bill [H.L.]. Read 2a, and committed.

Sutton, Southcoates, and Drypool Gas Bill. Read 2a, and committed for Tuesday next.

Dublin, Wicklow, and Wexford Railway Bill; Twickenham and Teddington Electric Supply Bill. Read 2a, and committed. The Committees to be proposed by the Committee of Selection.

London, Brighton and South Coast Railway Bill; London United Tramways Bill, Manchester Corporation Bill. Read 2a, and committed.

South Eastern and London, Chatham, and Dover Railways Bill [H.L.]; Truro Gas Bill [H.L.]; Alexandra (Newport and South Wales) Docks and Railway Bill [H.L.]; Portsmouth Water Bill [H.L.]; Kent Electric Power Bill [H.L.]. Read 3a, and passed, and sent to the Commons.

Gas Companies (Removal of Sulphur Restrictions) Bill. Read 3a, with the Amendments; a further Amendment made; Bill passed, and returned to the Commons.

Southampton Gas Bill. Read 3a, with the Amendment, and passed, and returned to the Commons.

North East London Railway Bill. Brought from the Commons, read 1a; and referred to the Examiners.
