§ The LORD CHANCELLOR acquainted the House, That the Clerk of the Parliaments had laid upon the Table the Certificates from the Examiners that no Standing Orders are applicable to the following Bills:—London Government Scheme (Hackney and Edmonton Unions); London Government Scheme (London and Middlesex); Pier and Harbour Provisional Order (No. 3).
§ And also the Certificate that the further Standing Orders applicable to the following Bill have been complied with:—London County Council (Tramways).

§ Tramways Orders Confirmation (No.2) Bill [H.L.] (Aberavon Tramways Order). The CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES informed the House that the promoters do not intend to proceed further with the Aberavon Tramways Order. Ordered, That the Order be not further proceeded with.

§ South Barracas (Buenos Ayres) Gas and Coke Company Bill [H.L.]. Committee to meet to-morrow.
§ North Eastern Railway Bill; North Eastern Railway (Steam Vessels) Bill. Report from the Committee of Selection, That the Lord Ellenborough be proposed to the House as a member of the Select Committee on the said Bills in the place of the Lord Ravensworth; read, and agreed to.802
§ Great Northern, Piccadilly, and Brompton Railway (No. 1) Bill. Third Reading (which stands appointed for this day) put off to Friday next.
