The LORD CHANCELLOR aquainted the House, That the Clerk of the Parliaments had laid upon the Table the Certificate from the Examiners that the further Standing Orders applicable to the following Bill have been complied with:—Mullingar, Kells, and Drogheda Railway.

And also the Certificates that the Standing Orders applicable to the following Bills have been complied with:—Electric Lighting Provisional Orders (No. 2) [H.L.]; Electric Lighting Provisional Orders (No. 3) [H.L.].

The same were ordered to lie on the Table.

St. Mary Woolnoth Bill [H.L.]. Report from the Select Committee, That the Committee had not proceeded with the consideration of the Bill, the opposition thereto having been withdrawn; read, and ordered to lie on the Table. The orders made on the 4th of March and the 22nd of April last discharged, and Bill committed.

A Bill to confirm certain Provisional Order made by the Board of Trade under the Tramways Act, 1870, relating to Bishop Auckland, Shildon, and Spennymoor Tramways, Dewsbury Corporation Tramways, East Ham Urban District Council Tramways, Ossett Corporation Tramways, Sunderland Corporation Tramway, and West Ham Corporation Tramways. And

Canal Rates and Charges (Regents Canal) Order Confirmation Bill [H.L] (No. 68). A Bill to confirm a Provisional Order made by the Board of Trade under the Railway and Canal Traffic Act, 1888, containing the schedule of maximum rates and charges applicable to the Regents Canal.

Were presented by the Lord Wolver-ton; read 1a; to be printed; and referred to the Examiners.

Barry Railway (Extension of Time, etc.) Bill [H.L.]. Returned from the Commons agreed to.

Private Legislation Procedure (Wales) Bill. Message from the Commons for leave for the Lord Balfour to attend to be examined as a witness before the Select Committee of that House. Leave given for his Lordship to attend if he think fit; and his Lordship (in his place) consenting thereto, a Message ordered to be sent to the Commons to acquaint them therewith.

St. Bartholomew's Hospital Bill [H.L.]. The Lord Bishop of London (in his place) consented to the Bill.

A Bill to confirm certain Provisional Orders made by the Board of Trade under the Tramways Act, 1870, relating to Altrincham Urban District Council Tramways.
