§ That— (1) In section 23 of the Betting and Gaming Duties Act 1981 for the Table in subsection (2) there shall be substituted—

§ (2) This resolution shall have effect in relation to any amusement machine licence for which an application is received by the Commissioners of Customs and Excise on or after 22nd March 2004.
814§ And it is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution should have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act 1968.
