§ Mr. Kerry Pollard (St. Albans) (Lab)I bring a petition from many thousands of residents of St. Albans and the surrounding areas which
declares that there is a need for a new acute hospital and centre of excellence—to include a cancer centre—to serve the community of central Hertfordshire and] 1537that there should be a medical school linked to the University of Hertfordshire and that St. Albans City Hospital should continue to provide non-acute services.We are grateful for the help of the St. Albans Observer in this petition.
