Queen's recommendation having been signified—

Motion made, and Question put forthwith, pursuant to Standing Order No. 52(1)(a) (Money resolutions and ways and means resolutions in connection with bills),

That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Horserace Betting and Olympic Lottery Bill, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—
    1. (a) expenditure of the Secretary of State in connection with the Act,
    2. (b) expenditure of the National Debt Commissioners in connection with the Act, and
    3. (c)any increase attributable to the Act in sums payable out of money provided by Parliament under another enactment, and
  2. (2)the payment of sums into the Consolidated Fund.ߞ[Charlotte Atkins.]
