Ordered, That, at the sitting on Tuesday 4th November, the Motion for the adjournment of the House in the name of the Prime Minister on the subject of quality of life in local communities shall lapse, if not previously disposed of, three hours after the commencement of proceedings on it, and the Motion for the adjournment of the House in the name of the Prime Minister relating to Africa may be proceeded with, though opposed, until Seven o'clock or for three hours after the commencement of proceedings on it, whichever is the later, and shall then lapse.—[Mr. Ainger.] Ordered, That, at the sitting on Wednesday 5th November, notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (2)(c)(i) of Standing Order No. 14 (Arrangement of public business), proceedings on the Motion in the name of the Leader of the Opposition may continue, though opposed, for three hours, and shall then be interrupted.—[Mr. Ainger.]
