Amendments made: No. 3, in page 4, line 26, after 'section', insert

', if the touching involved—
  1. (a) penetration of B's anus or vagina with a part of A's body or anything else,
  2. (b) penetration of B's mouth with A's penis,
  3. (c) penetration of A's anus or vagina with a part of B's body, or
  4. (d) penetration of A's mouth with B's penis,'.

No. 4, in page 4, line 27, at end insert— '( ) Unless subsection (2) applies, a person guilty of an offence under this section is liable—

  1. (a) on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum or both;
  2. (b) on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 14 years.'.—[Mr. Heppell.]
