HC Deb 07 May 2003 vol 404 cc808-9 7.41 pm
Andrew Selous (South-West Bedfordshire)

I present a petition signed by some 300 of my constituents, principally from Dunstable, about the parking and dangerous driving outside Beecroft lower school in Dunstable. It is a danger to the children, and parents and staff at the school are very concerned about it.

The petition reads: The petition of residents living near Beecroft Lower School. Declares that haphazard parking of cars outside the school causes danger at the time when people are dropping children off or collecting them. The Petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons urge the Council to consider road safety measures such as the erecting of bollards or the painting of double yellow lines on the length of road immediately outside the school. And the Petitioners remain, etc.

To lie upon the Table.
