§ Mr. David Chaytor, supported by Mr. Martin O'Neill, Mr. John Horam, Dr. Ian Gibson, Dr. Alan Whitehead, Alan Simpson, Brian White and Mr. David Drew, presented a Bill to require the Secretary of State to issue new Building Regulations in relation to the installation of boilers in domestic premises; to make provision for the continuation of the energy efficiency commitment in relation to domestic premises; to require the Secretary of State to consult on extending that provision to non-domestic premises; to require the Chancellor of the Exchequer to consult on reducing value added tax on energy saving materials; and for connected purposes: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time on Friday 21 November, and to be printed.
