§ Jane Griffiths (Reading, East)I would like to present a petition from 4,356 concerned residents of Woodley in the Reading, East constituency. The petition states that
they are concerned at the levels of crime and nuisance experienced in Woodley shopping centre, and believe that the installation of CCTV in Woodley town centre would lead to a reduction of these levels.The petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons inform the Secretary of State for the Home Department to take note of the concerns of the people of Woodley and to ensure that appropriate resources are made available to enable the installation of CCTV in Woodley Town Centre;And the petitioners remain, etc.To lie upon the Table.
