Amendments made: No. 234, in page 45, line 35, at end insert— '(2A) An appeal under section 66(1) against an immigration decision may not be brought or continued if the Secretary of State certifies that the decision is or was taken wholly or partly in reliance on information which in his opinion should not be made public—

  1. (a) in the interests of national security,
  2. (b) in the interests of the relationship between the United Kingdom and another country, or
  3. (c) for another reason of a political kind.'.

No. 235, in page 45, line 36, leave out "subsection (1)(a) and (b)" and insert— 'subsections (1)(a) and (b) and (2A)'.—[Mr. Jim Murphy.]
