I wish to present to the House a petition of 312 residents of Derby. The petition states: To the House of Commons The Petition of Residents of Derby Declares that the use of electric collars in dog training is cruel, liable to misuse, and unnecessary, especially with the many different forms of reward training that are currently available. The Petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons urge the Government to introduce legislation that will ban the sale of electric collars, which are at present freely available from Retail Outlets throughout the UK.
