Queen's recommendation having been signified

Motion made, and Question put forthwith, pursuant to Standing Order No. 52(1)(a) (Money resolutions and ways and means resolutions in connection with bills), That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Communications Bill ("the Act"), it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—

  1. (1) any expenditure incurred by the Secretary of State—
    1. (a) for or in connection with the carrying out of any of his functions under the Act; or
    2. (b) in the making of payments to OFCOM in respect of the establishment, installation or use by the Crown of stations or apparatus for wireless telegraphy; and
  2. (2) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums which are payable out of money so provided under any other Act.—[Mr. Sutcliffe.]
