§ Dr. Brian Iddon (Bolton, South-East)I would like to present a petition on behalf of 1,900 of my constituents who condemn the illegal occupation of the west bank and the Gaza strip by the Israeli defence force.
The petitioners request the Government to do everything in their power
to effect the withdrawal of the Israeli Defence Force from the occupied territories and support a sovereign Palestinian state";to end all arms sales to Israel immediately; and to aida UN led Commission of Enquiry (into the recent events in the Jenin camp)with access to all areas in the occupied territories.
