Having presented more than 20,000 signatures to Downing street last week, it is a great pleasure to present this petition to the House now: To the Honourable the Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Parliament assembled. The humble petition of the concerned residents of Herefordshire. Sheweth That the New Hereford Hospital is 120 beds short of the number required for it to operate at maximum efficiency. Wherefore your Petitioners pray that your honourable house will urge the Government to bring forward the 2007 hospital review to this year so that the desperate situation can be remedied. And your Petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray, etc.
