§ Miss Anne McIntosh (Vale of York)I have the honour to present a petition from Mrs. Jonete Coates, of Redmain cottage, Tollerton road, Huby, Yorkshire and 100 other residents of Huby or neighbouring villages, objecting to excessive speeds on country roads in and around Huby.
The petition states:
The Petitioner therefore requests that the House of Commons urges the Secretary of State for the Home Department and the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions to introduce measures which will ensure that the Tollerton Road is made safer for both users of the road and local residents.And the Petitioner remains, etc
