No. 156, in page 58, line 5, at end insert— '( ) For the purpose of subsection (1)(a) the following are relevant local authorities—

  1. (a) local transport authorities,
  2. (b) metropolitan district councils,
  3. (c) London transport authorities, and
  4. (d) councils in Scotland;
(except that, in the case of consultation by a Passenger Transport Authority for a passenger transport area, a council for a metropolitan district comprised in the area is not a relevant local authority).'.
