Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Finance Bill, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (a) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of sums payable by the Secretary of State by virtue of provisions of that Act relating to vehicle excise and registration;
  2. (b) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of such amounts as are required by the Commissioners of Inland Revenue to make payments under provisions of that Act relating to charities;
  3. (c) the deduction of sums from the gross revenues of the department of the Commissioners of Inland Revenue for the purpose of the payment of R&D tax credits; and
  4. (d) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of sums payable by virtue of provisions of that Act relating to incentives to use electronic communications—
    1. (i) for the purposes mentioned in section 132(1) of the Finance Act 1999, and
    2. (ii) for any other communications with the tax authorities or in connection with taxation matters.

Bill ordered to be brought in upon the foregoing resolutions: And that the Chairman of Ways and Means, Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Secretary Prescott, Mr. Secretary Straw, Mr. Secretary Blunkett, Mr. Secretary Milburn, Mr. Secretary Darling, Mr. Secretary Byers, Mr. Andrew Smith, Dawn Primarolo, Miss Melanie Johnson and Mr. Stephen Timms do prepare and bring it in.
