Amendment made: No. 59, in page 63, line 5, at end insert— '(4A) If at any time before the end of the compliance period any of the statements which, in accordance with any provision of subsection (4), are contained in a notification under this section (as it has effect for the time being) ceases to be accurate, the permitted participant by whom the notification was given shall give the Commission a notification ("a notification of alteration") indicating that that statement is replaced by some other statement—

  1. (a) contained in the notification of alteration, and
  2. (b) conforming with that provision of subsection (4).
(4B) For the purposes of subsection (4A) "the compliance period" is the period during which any provisions of Chapter II remain to be complied with on the part of the permitted participant.'.—[Mr. Mike Hall.]
