Queen's recommendation having been signified—

Motion made, and Question put forthwith, pursuant to Standing Order No. 52(1)(a), That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Bill, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—
    1. (a) expenditure incurred by the Electoral Commission by virtue of the Act;
    2. (b) expenses incurred by the Secretary of State in consequence of the Act; and
    3. (c) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums which under any other Act are payable out of money so provided;
  2. (2) the payment out of the Consolidated Fund of—
    1. (a) salaries, allowances and other benefits payable to or in respect of holders (or former holders) of the office of Electoral Commissioner; and
    2. (b) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums which under any other Act are payable out of that Fund;
  3. (3) the payment of sums into the Consolidated Fund.—[Mr. Mike Hall.]
