Motion made, and Question put forthwith, pursuant to Standing Order No. 52(1)(a), That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Financial Services and Markets Bill, it is expedient to authorise the imposition of charges to income tax and corporation tax by provisions of that Act relating to the treatment for the purposes of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 of payments made as a result of any provision of the Financial Services and Markets Compensation Scheme providing for the repayment of levies paid under the Scheme.—[Mr. Mike Hall.]
